Olivia Rodrigo’s world tour for GUTS is the second of her career, but she was still “terrified” before entering the stage at Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs, Calif., in February 2024.
When PEOPLE caught up with the “Get Him Back!” singer, 21, at the nya EAST red carpet premiere of Netflix’s Olivia Rodrigo: GUTS World Tour on Friday, Oct. 25, she said she was “terrified” and wished she had practiced more that night.

Olivia Rodrigo shared “such a beautiful moment” with her parents and friends after the play. Rodrigo adds that her hands shook from nerves while playing the piano at the tour’s early shows. “I was so scared that I was going to mess up,” she tells PEOPLE. “And in the last ones, I feel like could really, like, sit into it and just enjoy myself.”
James Merryman directed the GUTS world tour documentary, which will release on Netflix on October 29. The GUTS World Tour began in Palm Springs on February 23, with Chappell Roan serving as Rodrigo’s opening act. The Breeders, Remi Wolf, PinkPantheress, and Benee also appeared on the tour.
Olivia Rodrigo finished her 2024 appearances in Australia this week. Her excursion will resume in March, with dates in Chile, Argentina, Brazil, and Colombia. She will play gigs in Manchester, England, on June 30 and July 1, 2025, which were postponed in advance this yr due to “technical issues” at the venue.
Olivia Rodrigo said in a statement when the program was announced earlier this month that she was thrilled to share the GUTS World Tour with her fans. She also stated, “For those of you who didn’t get a chance to rock out in person, now you can have the best seats in the house!” And to the supporters that yelled, screamed, and danced with me, I am overjoyed that we get to do it all again!”
