Scott Jennings’s commentary on Trump assassination attempt ignites his dismissal from CNN

Recently, CNN contributor Scott Jennings gained public attention when he denied taking part in the “both sides” rhetoric discussion. This demonstrated his worry for U.S. former President Donald Trump, who escaped a second attempt on his life on Sunday, September 16.

He tweeted, “I’m not interested in “the rhetoric on both sides” today,” September 17, 2024, one day later. It’s aimed at Trump. He has escaped two attempts at assassination. De-radicalizing everyone who believes that if he wins, the country will end is probably too late.
In addition, he attacked two CNN hosts for using extreme language and claimed that Donald Trump was the intended target on two separate occasions.

Scott Jennings is attached with CNN as a donor since 2017

A few days prior, on September 15, someone wrote that Scott Jennings was a gaslighting lapdog and that CNN should fire him.
Although many are calling for Jennings to be fired from the network, CNN doesn’t appear to have given this important action any thought as of yet, as Jennings is still connected to the network.

Although Scott Jennings, a native of Kentucky, has a long history in the media, his affiliation with CNN only began in 2017 when he became an on-air contributor.
His responsibilities at CNN grew over time, and he eventually started writing for CNN.com. Similarly, he has made appearances on a number of CNN programs throughout the years, including Anderson Cooper’s AC360.

Scott Jennings has been involved in other activities than CNN. Additionally, Scott Jennings contributes to the Los Angeles Times and USA Today.

Similarly, he has been airing Flyover Country with Scott Jennings, his podcast, since 2022. The podcast features interviews with commentators and attorneys as well as analysis on current national political topics.
